Cambodia Packing List
Nuts and Bolts:
*The key to a happy trip is to pack light! Many roads in Cambodia are bumpy and unimproved, so bring a roller bag with sturdy wheels, or a duffle bag or backpack works well.
*Pack clothes that won’t wrinkle or show sweat stains and you’ll be good to go. Even in the winter, days can get warm, especially if you’re exploring.
*Modesty is key. You’ll get a better reception if you are dressed conservatively, especially at temples and war monuments or religious sites.
Packing For March - June
The Weather
Cambodia in the summer is hot, with daytime temps around 27*C. It is the early part of the rainy season, so rainfall is still infrequent, but when it rains, it pours.
The Essentials
Flip flops with non-slip soles, and a pair of ultra-comfy walking shoes. Temple days are long!
Shirts that cover the shoulders and chest, and pants that go below the knee. Modesty is key!
Light-weight raincoat or poncho.
A kroma, or scarf, to protect from the sun and dry your sweat.
Miscellaneous: Toiletries, Passport + photocopy, wallet, phone, camera, bugspray, sunscreen, sunglasses (a fanny pack works great for all of this)

Rainy season! Prepare for frequent heavy rains, and puddles to last after the rain has stopped.
The Essentials
Waterproof shoes or sandals that attach to your feet (like tevas or chacos) are recommended.
Pants that dry fast and don’t show mud or rain stains
Packing For November - February
