Floating Village Prek Toal

Prek Toal is one of the floating villages on the Tonle Sap lake. Remote and reachable only by small boat during the dry season, this dynamic community lives on the water year-round. Join in the daily tasks of floating life — feeding crocodiles, mending fishing nets and leaky boats, and learning to weave the water hyacinth which floats along the waterways.
Optional: Add in a floating village homestay, and wake up to the chanting of monks as longtail boats bring children to the floating school and floating markets come around bring breakfast and coffee.
Phnom Kulen Sacred Waterfall

Before Angkor Wat, the capital of the kingdom was located at Phnom Kulen. This sacred mountain provides a never-ending spring which flows through Siem Reap all the way to the Tonle Sap, bring life-giving water to the people, animals, and fields. We’ll stop at the 1000 Lingas, learning about the history of Hinduism in Cambodia. We’ll see the 7 colored spring, and hike up to the Sleeping Buddha carved in the mountain summit. After lunch by the waterfalls, we’ll swim in the sacred waters, before heading back to town.
Jungle Temple Biking

Siem Reap is home to more than 300 temples. While some have been restored and reclaimed, many are still abandoned and overgrown by jungle. Today, we’ll hop on our mountain bikes and head for some of the lesser-known temples, including an ancient healing temple. We’ll enjoy a local lunch with a great view, and continue on through the jungles until mid-afternoon.
